This house was hiding many challenges, including outdated knob and tube electrical wiring and creaking, saggy floors. Our team made sure all fixes below the surface were addressed before giving this two-story home a bright facelift.
On this project, our team went above and beyond—and below. We laid new subfloors to deal with the noisy creaks and brand new hard wood flooring throughout.
We replaced the creaky old stairs with a brand new staircase, updating the railing and banisters to provide a fresh look. Keeping the brick wall exposed gives a warm, rustic vibe and saves on space in this slim hallway.
Combining your kitchen, dining and living room makes so much sense for entertaining and everyday family living. We made the most of this long, narrow floor plan by opening up the space from front to back.
Pairing a bold tile pattern with sleek details gives this bathroom a welcoming and clean feel. We maximized sunlight with a minimalist full-glass shower door and included a shelf in the window sill.
We found an old newspaper (among other things) behind the walls and had it framed for the homeowners. This page was from The Hamilton Spectator, January 1965.
“Being able to trust a contractor that wants to align their ideas with your own is of the upmost importance. Trust, vision and execution is what brought my house from an idea to reality.”
